Alex joined NYU’s Digital Library Technology Services in September 2016 as the Digital Production Editor on the Mellon-funded Enhanced Networked Monographs project. Her responsibilities include the creation of semantic tags in a large set of digital scholarly books; the publication of those books on a Web platform that enables interaction with digital resources and various methods of reader interactivity; and testing of these projects with partner presses. Prior to working at NYU, Alex was the Kress Fellow in Art Librarianship at Yale University Library, and also served as project manager for several linked data projects: at Harvard’s Villa I Tatti (on The Drawings of the Florentine Painters) and at Pratt Institute (on the Linked Jazz project).
