NYU Shanghai’s new 114,000-square-meter campus is located in the thriving New Bund neighborhood of Shanghai. 1. The west entrance of NYU Shanghai is located at 567 West Yangsi Road and is considered the main gate to campus. Located in Qiantan (the New Bund) in the Pudong District, the NYU Shanghai campus is close to the city’s new hub of finance, technology, and other key industries.

2. From casual gatherings to cultural events, students and faculty can enjoy a wide range of activities that foster community in quad. The spacious campus courtyard combines Western cloister–inspired architecture with the tranquil ambiance of a traditional Chinese scholars’ garden.

3. Interactive Media Arts studios on the third and fourth floors of the North building offer tools for creative and technical projects in open workspaces that encourage collaboration.

4. At the Academic Resource Center (ARC), students receive academic support through one-on-one tutoring and group sessions. The ARC offers a wide range of services aimed at helping students meet the challenge of NYU’s rigorous academic standards.

8. Open to the entire NYU Shanghai community, the Fitness Center is located on the B2 level of the North Building and is one of the most popular places at NYU Shanghai. It has seven different workout areas, including zones for stretching, cardio, resting, weights, conditioning, stationary machines, and a combat area.

9. NYU Shanghai’s two-floor cafeteria is 1,250 square meters in size and can seat more than 350 diners. Boasting a variety of food stalls offering Chinese, Western, halal, and vegetarian options, the canteen is a central hub for the NYU Shanghai community to come together. Its bright, modern design creates an atmosphere perfect for enjoying meals and socializing.

10. The Reading Hall is a popular study space located on the northwest corner of the third floor. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the Reading Hall boasts ample light and a staircase leading to the library entrance on the fifth floor.
