A group of NYU Prague students spent a weekend volunteering to harvest vegetables for one of the Czech Republic’s largest organic farms, Svobodný statek na soutoku, o.p.s., during the first autumn weekend and had a wonderful weather. The group of eleven volunteers helped with picking grown pumpkins and beets, cutting the leaves of onions, creating new compost and other tasks. They also participating in planting new crops and fertilizing the fields. It was hard work but great fun.
