NYU Washington, DC students can access the NYUDC Bike Share program during their time in DC.  The NYU Health Promotion office also has a range of health and wellness resources available to NYU students, regardless of where you are studying each semester. NYU STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE OVERVIEW

NYU STUDENTS:  If you are enrolled in the student health insurance plan, your plan administrator is Wellfleet and your plan offers coverage for services rendered by healthcare providers who participate in the Cigna PPO network Visit the Wellfleet website

TESTING

  • If you have symptoms of COVID-19
    • Request a rapid antigen test by contacting  nyudc-screener@nyu.edu
    • Wear a mask, inform your suitemates to mask up
    • Follow up with a healthcare provider
  • Your health insurance may cover the full cost of rapid tests, you can inquire about this at any pharmacy.

VACCINATION

This option is no-cost and doesn’t have any administrative fees associated with it. Or campus is located in Ward 2 and some Ward 1 locations are close to us as well. 
 
CVS Pharmacy – COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments (closest option to NYU DC campus)
 
These local pharmacies near campus will require you to enter your health insurance information to get the vaccine at no-cost.
 
You may need to enter your student health insurance information to secure a vaccination.  Visit the Wellfleet website for NYU student health insurance information to have this information available. If you are an international student you may need your GeoBlue insurance information in the appointment booking process so be sure to have it readily available.
