This spring, one of the University’s study away locations, NYU Madrid, moved into a newly-remodeled building on the Calle del Barquillo in central Madrid. Renovations included updated technical facilities as well as NYURoam wireless and NYU-NET connectivity.

3D Printing Materials for Submersible Vehicles

Arabic Collections Online Posts 10,000th Book
Digital Library Technology Services (DLTS) is proud to report that it has added the 10,000th book to the Arabic Collections Online (ACO), an open-access library of Arabic language books. ACO makes use of a number of NYU IT resources to provision and maintain the infrastructure for the repository.
HackNYU 2019 Winners
The winners of HackNYU 2019 are in! Twenty-one projects took home awards in a field full of innovative, novel ideas that were developed over the 48 hours of the hackathon, which included 13 winners across the hackathon’s tracks and 11 additional awards from sponsors and partners.
Learning How We Learn
Since people started gathering together, we’ve been investigating how to effectively deliver and absorb knowledge. Adaptive learning, one of the most promising developments to emerge from online course delivery, can make the process more individualized and possibly more effective.
