Progressive constructions indicate an action or activities happening at the time of speaking. Depending on the time, various progressive constructions are used.   

Subject (Object) + Verb _[stem]  +  रहा रहे रही Aux Verb [Present/Past/Presumptive/ Subjunctive]

For example:

• इस साल भारत में जून में  बहुत गरमी  पड़ रही है। This year India is experiencing a lot of heat in June. (Present Progressive)
• कश्मीर में पिछले हफ़्ते लगातार बहुत बर्फ़ गिर रही थी। It was constantly snowing In Kashmir last week. (Past Progressive)
• केरल में जुलाई में बारिश हो रही होगी। It will be probably raining in July in Kerala (Presumptive Progressive)
• शायद गोवा में गरमी नहीं पड़ रही  हो। Perhaps there is no heat in Goa. (Subjunctive Progressive)
