Anubhooti is very passionate about Hindi and environmental sustainability. She is based in Atlanta and teaches Hindi to different grade levels from across the US. She writes poetry in Hindi and English and is a regular at poetry reciting events. Taking every opportunity to advance the Hindi language, she was instrumental in getting a 200 title strong Hindi book section established at a local library in Atlanta. Children and seniors have been the biggest beneficiaries of this section.
Anubhooti has been involved in sustainability initiatives at personal and community level for 15+ years. With her waste segregation initiative a few years back at her community in India, she was able to divert hundreds of tonnes of waste from landfills towards composting and recycling. Championing the cause of sustainability, she writes a green blog, runs a reusable dish lending initiative, organises composting workshops and is an Atlanta Sustainability Ambassador.
She has an MBA in Finance & Marketing. She is multilingual and apart from Hindi and English, she speaks German and Swedish. She has worked as a freelance translator in all these languages. Anubhooti has diverse work experience across US, UK, Sweden, Germany and India. She was a Fulbright participant in 2022 and is very excited to incorporate topics of environmental sustainability and climate change in her Hindi teaching.
