Printed paper spine labels with titles and volume numbers. Manuscript ink titling and volume numbers in Giffard’s hand at head of spines, above labels.  Twelve page publisher’s advertisements, dated December 1828, in front of volume 1. Evidence of printer’s waste at hinges of both volumes.
