In the Fall 2018 semester, students enrolled in CADT-UH 1018 will carry out a set of interconnected collective exhibits on the well-known, two volume encyclopedia by John Gordon Lorimer, known as the Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf, Oman and Central Arabia.  This work has been called “‘the most important single source of historical material on the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia’ from the 17th to early 20th century.”  It is available at the HathiTrust Digital Library and in an augmented edition at Brill.
