In collaboration with colleagues at Syracuse University, Haskins Laboratories, University of Cincinnati, and the CUNY Graduate Center, BITS lab is evaluating whether the incorporation of ultrasound imaging can help eliminate persistent speech errors–in particular, misarticulation of the English /r/ sound–in children who have not responded to conventional forms of treatment.
