Benjamin FerenczOn June 6, Professor Jennifer Trahan was part of a webinar organized by the Sousa Mendes Foundation, which featured Dr. Yael Danielli interviewing the last living US Prosecutor from the Nuremberg Tribunal, Benjamin Ferencz. Professor Trahan joined after the interview, to take questions on aggression under the UN Charter system and the crime of aggression under the International Criminal Court’s Rome Statute. Approximately 500 attended the remote event. And on June 30, Professor Trahan co-hosted and co-moderated with the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and the University of Illinois College of Law, a 1 day expert seminar on the International Criminal Court. Professor Christian Busch will be interviewed live by Thinkers50 (“The Oscars of Management Thinking”) on Tuesday July 13th, 11am ET, about how we can navigate a fast-changing world using a Serendipity Mindset.

 

Professor Mary Beth Altier presented her research on terrorist disengagement, re-engagement, and risk factors at the Jean Monnet Network on EU Counterterrorism’s virtual conference on June 15th. On June 22nd, she presented her recently published research on popular perceptions of terrorist re-entry programs to The Washington Institute’s Countering Violent Extremism working group.
