In order to address a problem as pervasive as the crisis of sexual abuse within religious institutions, thoughtful and direct critical engagement is necessary. The Revealer‘s March publication – the first themed special issue in the magazine’s history – is our attempt to contribute to an uncomfortable reality and a difficult conversation in a meaningful, constructive way.
This month’s issue addresses sexual abuse within the Catholic Church as well as beyond it. With eight striking articles, the Revealer presents new questions and new ways of wrestling with a crisis that has continued for far too long.
