Joining a club or organization can be one of the most rewarding aspects of student life at NYU, and with over 900 clubs holding meetings and organizing events, you can be sure to find a community that shares your interests. NYU Find My Club (FMC) is NYU’s online platform for students looking to join or manage clubs, find events, and stay engaged in the NYU community. It is powered by NYU Engage (OrgSync), NYU’s platform for creating and managing student clubs, event attendance, and other University activities. Club information created in NYU Engage is surfaced in FMC.
Find and Join Clubs with Find My Club
The first step is to log in with your NYU account. After doing so, you can indicate your interests and find related organizations and service opportunities.
If you’d like to learn more about an organization, simply select the club and you’ll find information on their meeting times, events, and other details. Learn more about getting started with the service on the NYU Find My Club site.
Create and Manage Clubs with NYU Engage
Are you a club leader? No worries, you can also manage your organization and profile directly on NYU Engage. The information will be directly synced onto FMC for students to view.
Create an Organization
If you’re looking to create a new organization, locate the Browse Organizations tab, and click the green button labeled Register New Organization. After having done so, you can review your request in the Activity tab near your name at the top of the page.
Manage Your Organization
If you are joining an organization, you can become a portal administrator in order to help with club management. Once added as an admin, these are some of the administrative duties you can perform:
-
- Customize your organization’s settings.
- Regular administrators cannot change their organization’s name or category. To do so, contact an umbrella administrator.
- Change your organization’s password.
- Create and manage an event.
