The NYU Start Page Will Require MFA as of April 27

Beginning Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11am ET, the security of the NYU Start Page will be enhanced by requiring the use of NYU Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). A few minor improvements to the site’s menu and page organization will also go into effect at that time, with major improvements planned for next fall. Please refer to the IT Service Status page for updates or contact the NYU IT Service Desk. As a reminder, the Duo Mobile app’s “Send Me a Push” or “Enter a Passcode” options are the best ways to use NYU MFA. They are more secure, more reliable, less expensive, and faster than a phone call or SMS, and they can be used in areas without cellular service.
