Bio:
As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant at Ascension Medical Group – St. Vincent, I assist in the examination and treatment of patients with heart and vascular diseases, actively contributing to improved patient outcomes. After obtaining my M.A. in Bioethics from NYU in 2016, I worked as a research scientist in the university for three more years before deciding to pursue a direct role in healthcare. I first considered becoming a hospitalist Nurse Practitioner and began RN school. However, after some time of study, I realized that becoming a Physician would better align with my long-term career goals. Consequently, I transitioned from the RN program to a post-baccalaureate pre-med track to prepare for medical school. As a future Physician, I plan to focus on general hospital medicine, treat patients, and contribute to the moral-ethical framework of healthcare delivery and policy formulation here and abroad.
