Bio:
I originally entered the University of Alabama with the intention of obtaining a degree in Biology and attending medical school immediately upon graduation. As an undergraduate, I discovered my passion for philosophy and carefully reconsidered my plans to pursue medicine, opting finally to pursue the former over the latter. This program has fostered in me an interest in the interactions between the government, healthcare providers, and the general populace, as well as providing me with an insight in the state of healthcare relations today and a perspective that I believe will be valuable in the healthcare system. I will be moving to the D.C. area and applying to medical school at the end of this calendar year, with the intention of attending medical school in the fall semester of 2017.
