Located in the School of Global Public Health, The Center for Bioethics draws upon NYU’s strong faculty base in a wide variety of departments of the Arts and Science (A&S), including Philosophy and Anthropology, the departments of Environmental Medicine and Population Health (Langone Medical Center), as well as in the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and the School of Law. This reflects the wide-ranging expertise and concerns of the Bioethics MA Program. The Center is also affiliated with the Animal Studies Initiative, the Department of Philosophy, the Environmental Studies Program, the NYU School of Medicine, the NYU School of Law, the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, and the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
