Given the wide treatment gap for eating disorders, novel tools are needed to not only identify individuals with eating disorders but also to encourage services use. As part of the cadio Fall 2023 Webinar Series, Dr. Ellen E. Fitzsimmons-Craft, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, will present on her work using user-centered design to develop a chatbot for this purpose as well as on results of a randomized optimization trial investigating the effectiveness of four theoretically-informed chatbot components.
