Bio:
Bioethics has always maintained a central role in Kim’s life, goals and interests, leading her to pursue degrees in philosophy and biology. With research experience in both areas, combined with her care and concern for the well-being of others, the bioethics program at NYU couldn’t have seemed more fitting for her to seek a deeper knowledge in philosophy as well as an understanding for its role in education and public health. Upon completing her degree, Kim hopes to continue investigating the molecular relationships between immunobiology, hematology and developmental biology (i.e., stem cell/cancer biology) while pursuing a career in health care, or education (or both), and remaining involved with bioethics.
