Bio:
Jimmy is passionate about practical concerns of our relation to the environment and the imminent climate crises. This passion along with his experience in the private sector provoked interest in fusing his understanding of philosophy with a clear-thinking practical concern for real world problem solving.
Jimmy’s contemplation usually turns to questions about our intervening in ecological, social, and technological states of affairs. These questions are thought to require understanding of what can be said and how one knows anything about such affairs. The discussion of intervention is also considered to require an account of our desires via ethics, politics, and economics.
