Academic Areas of Interest:
I am eager to explore the ways in which bioethics can improve the quality of healthcare afforded to individuals, as well as the public at large – additionally, on the larger questions of health, well-being, and our individual and collective responsibilities to each other.
Education:
CUNY Brooklyn College: Major in Biology; Minor in Philosophy.
Other Interests:
I am passionate about challenging the ways in which anti-fat biases that exist both within and outside of medicine result in the lack of quality, and even access to health care. I wish to explore the ways in which not only medical training, but value theory as it is related to that practice, can be redirected and refocused on the well-being of patients, regardless of size.
