Bio:
Jess Lochtenberg is from Sydney, Australia. She went to the University of Sydney and completed a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology and achieved First Class Honours for her thesis, which interrogated the developmental model of addiction from scientific and philosophical perspectives. Her thesis for the M.A. in Bioethics questioned the morality of forced treatment for opiate addiction, and she undertook her practicum at the Centre on Addiction in NYC. Since completing her M.A., Jess has been accepted into the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland to study medicine. In her free time, Jess enjoys skateboarding, street photography and making art.
