Welcome to the UEL

The Urban Epidemiologic Lab (UEL) is primarily focused on studying health outcomes among urban dwellers. Our focus is on substance use and infectious diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections, and malaria. The UEL has included undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows from NYU and beyond.
