The Digital Scholarship Services department from NYU Libraries will be on hand to discuss the Web Hosting service. The Web Hosting service supports supports teaching, learning, and research at NYU and provides users with access to flexible web space and customizable hosting platforms, including Omeka, Drupal, and Scalar, as well as command line and FTP access to make changes to core web development technologies such as MySQL, PHP and Python.

Overview of the lifecycle of an NYU IT Communications campaign (from conception to end). Goal is to raise awareness of our offerings to NYU IT staff, but moreso to encourage all community members to share their IT-related news items with us for distribution, and to follow our news/social media channels. Presentation will include both a physical poster and a video of sample campaigns playing on a laptop.

Description: We have build a web application that shows all public printers available on NYU campus with a status page that shows toner and paper level)
Project 2: Occupancy App (still working on the name)
Description: We are building a web application that will shows live occupancy of a facility. Currently, we are tracking occupancy at Laguardia co-op and a computer lab in Bobst library. Our app will be going live by this Friday and should be ready to be presented at share fair.
