Student Association for Global Affairs (SAGA)
The Student Association for Global Affairs (SAGA) represents the diverse MSGA student body by actively making connections between the academic pursuits of global affairs and the practical political landscape—through events, networking, career building, communication, cross-cultural understanding, and by providing a space for dialogue and student activism. All students currently enrolled in the MSGA program are members of SAGA and are invited to participate in all events. Officers are annually elected as student representatives by a vote of the student body for service the following year. In addition to planning events, SAGA Officers are accessible to all students for assistance in all matters of the Global Affairs program. SAGA also oversees the eight MSGA Concentration Committees, who represent the professional interests within each of the academic concentrations.

Global Cyber Students Collective (GCSC)
The Cyber Students Collective at NYU’s School of Professional Studies is a student-led organization dedicated to enhancing the academic and professional experiences of graduate students in the MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime program. Our collective focuses on providing practical workshops, facilitating information sharing, and hosting career-focused sessions. Through these initiatives, we aim to equip members with the essential skills and knowledge required for success in the cybersecurity and global security fields. We plan to collaborate with industry experts, alumni, and faculty to ensure that our activities are relevant, impactful, and aligned with current industry trends.

The MSGA Concentration Committees
The Concentration Committees are coordinated and overseen by current students who make up each Committee’s executive board. Students from a variety of concentrations are involved with the committees, and are not limited to participating in only the committee representing their concentration. The Committees provide a way for students to connect with one other to discuss academic, professional, and current event topics, host roundtable conversations with guest speakers, and coordinate site visits to off-campus institutions, as well as social events. The Committees are an excellent way to become involved with the MSGA student body and to engage and network meaningfully with fellow students, alumni, and professionals in the field. Many Committees also produce a monthly newsletter with relevant events at NYU and throughout NYC, as well as job and internship listings. Please see the list of committees below.
