Pía Madanes Quintanilla

Originally from Argentina, Pía is an M.S. in Global Affairs candidate concentrating in Peacebuilding and specializing in Data Analytics. Before pursuing her Bachelor’s in Social Sciences in Buenos Aires, she traveled across Asia and Africa with Semester at Sea, sponsored by the University of Virginia. Pía has worked with the United Nations Secretariat, research centers, the Buenos Aires City Legislature, and numerous NGOs. Her passions include advancing quality, inclusive education, and advocating for gender issues and migrant’s rights. Currently, Pía is a Graduate Consultant for EcoPeace Middle East in Amman. At the CGA. Pía is also the President for the Peace and Conflict Transformation club (PaCT), a Senior Editor at the Global Affairs Review, and the Treasurer for the Gender Working Group.

Nahjae Nunes is a Dean’s Scholar and MS candidate in Global Affairs with a concentration in International Relations and Global Futures and specialization in the United Nations. Hailing from the heartbeat of the world, Jamaica, this international award-winning youth activist, speaker, and emerging global leader also currently serves as the Policy Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the United Nations and NYU’s first Harold W. Rosenthal Fellow to the US Government.

Sybil R. Wang is graduate student at the Center for Global Affairs, concentrating in International Relations/Global Futures, and specializing in Global Risk. She is currently working with UNICEF as a Policy & Admin Law Intern. Through her current roles and past experience working in other nonprofit and civil society organizations she developed her passion in diplomatic affairs, and she has also been involving in peacebuilding work. Her desire to contribute and fight against gender inequality has also led her to join the World Academy for the Future of Women.
