We again congratulate you on your acceptance to the NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs. We know that choosing the right graduate school can be a daunting task, so we want to make sure you have quick and easy access to all the information that will be most helpful toward your decision-making process.

Campus

The Center for Global Affairs, including administrative and faculty offices, is located in the NYU School of Professional Studies Building in the Washington Square campus vicinity and is easily accessible by public transportation. The address is 7 East 12th Street, 8th floor Suite (two blocks from Union Square!).  Note that MSGA & MSGSCC classes are held in various buildings around the NYU Campus, but in easy walking distance to our offices.

Academics

MSGA – The MSGA is a 42 credit/14 course program, and all students will graduate from a concentration reflecting a particular area of specialization. Each concentration can be tailored to reflect a student’s individual career objectives. The full listing of concentrations and course offerings can be viewed here.

Get a Head Start with Recommended Reading

For those students who wish to gain a firmer understanding of issues related to the Global Affairs curriculum, we recommend that that you read the news on a daily basis and subscribe to relevant magazines such as The Economist and Foreign Policy.


Careers

Visit our careers page to learn about the resources available to CGA graduate students. In addition to the career services offices at NYU and SPS, the CGA hosts numerous career panel discussions and networking events throughout the year to help students meet and learn from professionals in their fields. Additionally, the CGA has strong relationships with many members of the international community, be it through our alumni network, guest speakers, or partner institutions including NGOs and private companies. CGA staff and faculty are committed to working with this broader community to better link students to appropriate job opportunities.
