Designing with/for teachers: Sharing strategies @LSRI

Recently, I had the honour of visiting the Learning Sciences Research Institute (LSRI) at the University of Illinois in Chicago to share participatory design strategies for engaging teachers in designing tools for science inquiry. While there, I enjoyed chatting with faculty and students about designing teacher professional development, researching students’ understanding of graphs and maps, and the arrival of the holodeck.
