This program has concluded for Spring 2025.
About the Program:
The International Student Arts Incubator Program seeks to allow international student artists and creatives to not only develop practical skills (e.g., resume writing, networking) but also develop a high-level creative project they can use as a part of their portfolio of creative work they will need when applying for the O1-Visa.
Through Creative Career Hub workshops, group mentoring with alumni artists, one-on-one career coaching with evaluations of their respective personal branding documents (portfolios, etc), and space and materials to create high-quality artistic work as well as a showcase of their creations, students will learn and internalize necessary skills to obtain their O1-visa status.
At the end of the eight-week program, students will have an industry showcase of their work, furthering connections to the local arts community and developing material for their portfolios.
