Ariana Wahab ’25
Ariana Wahab is a senior at NYU studying Psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies. In the future she hopes to pursue a career in psychology or neuroscience research. Her interests include reading, dancing, going to the movies, listening to music, and exploring the city. Currently she is a research assistant at The West Interpersonal Perception Lab and is a research intern at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As Co-EIC of NYU IPR she hopes to inspire readers and showcase the many sides in the fields of psychology research. |

Allison Chow ’26
Allison is a junior at CAS majoring in Biology on the pre-health track. She hopes to one day become a physician who serves her community, regardless of language or socioeconomic barriers. She holds patient care volunteer positions at both NYU Langone’s Delirium Prevention and Cognitive Stimulation Pilot Program and RendrCare. She is also a certified phlebotomy and EKG technician. As Co-Editor in Chief, her goal is to organize the journal in a way that is informative, accessible, and engaging to everyone, including those with limited background in psychology or scientific research. Other things Allison enjoys doing in her free time include playing the piano (especially Chopin), writing, spending time in nature, and collecting sparkly objects. |

Ava Iannessa ’26
Ava is a junior at CAS studying Psychology with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Along with IPR, Ava is a member of Phi Chi Theta and Vis Major. She is especially passionate about marketing and bridging the gap between revolutionary ideas in the field of psychology and the broader NYU community. In her free time, Ava loves exploring NYC, working out, and spending time with friends. |

Lesley Tan ’26
My name is Lesley Tan, and I am a third year at Gallatin with a concentration spanning Psychology, Philosophy, and Chemistry. I love reading, dancing, have recently been getting into cooking, and I am obsessed with coffee and cafes. I have been pursuing research in the last couple years in the realms of addiction and motivation through my involvement in various research labs as well as conducting my own investigation into mindfulness and Buddhism. A fun fact about me is that I’m currently growing a basil plant and love watching it thrive. |

Anjali Mehta ’26
Anjali is a junior in Steinhardt majoring in Applied Psychology with a minor in English & American Literature. Her aspirations are to pursue a career as a clinical psychologist, specializing in trauma-informed care. In her free time, she loves to read, write, and peruse coffee shops around New York City. She currently works as a ROSES advocate within the RISE research lab in Steinhardt, with previous research experiences being centered around racial socialization and multicultural mental health implications. |

Ethan Morris ’25
Ethan is a senior at NYU majoring in Psychology while on the Pre-Medical Track. He is passionate about research, and through his work in a psychosis risk lab at Mount Sinai, he has taken great interest in pursuing psychiatry to learn more about the onset of mental disorders. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, photography, and running. |
Mahua Shah ’26
Mahua is a junior majoring in Psychology at CAS and pursuing a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Her goal is to eventually become a counselor and work primarily with children, helping them navigate their mental growth and development as they age. In her free time, she loves to cook, explore the city with friends, and play video games.

Paige Miller ’25
Paige is a Senior at CAS studying neural science and chemistry. She is a part of the Glimcher lab working on SOAR, which uses neuroeconomics and human decision making to predict relapse rates in those with Opioid Use Disorder. Outside of the lab, she volunteers as a Crisis Counselor, and is passionate about exploring the connections between psychology and neuroscience through scientific literature. In her free time, Paige enjoys creative writing, reading up on ancient history (particularly ancient Rome), and trying new coffee shops throughout the city. |

Ainsley Hoh ’25
Ainsley is a senior at CAS studying Psychology. As a member of the Social Perception, Action, and Motivation Lab at NYU, she is currently investigating the relationship between racial identity and parasocial processing. Long-term research interests primarily include personality, personality disorders, and dimensional approaches to psychopathology. Outside of academics, she loves trying new cafes in the city, watching movies, and playing the piano.

Katherine is a junior at CAS studying Psychology with minors in Data Science and Management. She is interested in cognition, specifically decision-making and emotional regulation, and hopes to go into Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the future. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching shows, listening to music, and trying new restaurants in the city.

I enjoy exploring and spending time in nature, as well as painting and listening to music. I am passionate about providing resources to enhance mental health awareness and support among younger generations.

Gulsu Cakir ’26
Hi there! My name is Gulsu, and I’m a junior at CAS majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business Studies. I’m originally from Turkey, and I have two adorable cats with a little too much personality. In my free time, I love exploring new places—especially restaurants—and I enjoy photography. Alongside this role, I’m also a Research Assistant at The West Interpersonal Perception Lab, and I hold leadership positions in academic student organizations like Psi Chi and the Psychology Student Society. While I’m still refining my academic path, I have a strong interest in Social Psychology, particularly in understanding the dynamics of human behavior/personality in connection with the ever-changing world around us. |
