The NYU M.A. in Historical and Sustainable Architecture is a nine-month, London-based program focusing on the creative reuse of older buildings. We train our students in innovative ways to recycle buildings, preserving built heritage through sustainable practice and real estate development. Our curriculum prepares students for careers in the field through academic training, original research, and practical experience with the projects and techniques studied in London. We enrolled our first class in 2010, and we have now graduated over 100 students. Our alumni work across the world as designers, advocates, administrators, researchers, and consultants at architecture, development and construction firms; government agencies; non-profit advocacy groups; and cultural institutions.
Applications for the class of 2019 are now open, with a target deadline of March 1 for September 2018 enrollment. The program will run in London from September 2018 to May 2019. You can learn more about the program at our website, if you have not already seen it:
