The NYU M.A. in Historical and Sustainable Architecture is a nine-month, London-based program focusing on the creative reuse of older buildings.  We train our students in innovative ways to recycle buildings, preserving built heritage through both sustainable practice and real estate development. Our curriculum prepares students for careers in the field through academic training, original research, and practical experience with the projects and techniques studied in London. We enrolled our first class in 2010, and we have now graduated over 100 students. Our alumni work across the world as designers, advocates, administrators, researchers, and consultants at architecture, development and construction firms; government agencies; non-profit advocacy groups; and cultural institutions.
