STATEMENT:

I am intrigued by the relationship the creative arts have with the natural world.

 

 

 

ARTIST BIO:

Betty Laboz (BA ’22) is a senior from New York concentrating on the intersections of human development, mental health, and media. In this context, media ranges from digital media, photography, and modern art to fashion and other forms of self-expression. With every media domain she explores, Betty tries to find the connections between human development and mental health. With regard to her work, Betty says creating involves tapping into the unconscious and creating purely based on intuition. She believes that is what makes art pure and authentic
