How To: Laugh
How To: Laugh is the exploration and exhaustion of the creative engine “how to:”. Using music, movement and poetic devices this instructional prompt manifests itself in collision of mediums.
Aishia Lin Sampson is a NYC based multi-hyphenate artist from Calgary, Canada. Starting at a young age, she had a knack for curating and creating images for storytelling. Aishia has further honed her technical skills at New York University while continuing to pursue her education. With an extensive dance background and an evolved career inclusive of theatre, music and her research of comedy and catharsis, Aishia’s work is interested in joyful and thoughtful collaborations that investigate the capacity of the comedic genre in relation to the human capacity for unlearning and relearning ourselves.
