Necropolis

Photograph of a small black zine with a netched figure drawn in the front page.
Necropolis, zine

The zine is composed of several writings initially contained within my journal, written live at the time of me witnessing strange happenings at Langone Hospital and instances of harassment and assault in Washington Square Park. All of the white-on-black drawings were added later. It was written during a very dark time in my life, when my health issues were pushing me to the brink of life, and everything and everyone in New York seemed to be warped, barely living dead. This inspired the title, Necropolis.
