ARTIST STATEMENT:
Unseen is about the perpetual human need for individuality, even when invisibility feels aspirational. In this one-person show, the ambivalence of a writer/actor with appearance anxiety and “nothing to say” is explored through the mythological figure, Echo.
BIO: 
Nadine Rousseau (she/her) is an MA candidate at NYU Gallatin. She graduated from the dance program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and earned her BA in Dramatic Literature from George Mason University. She has produced her own independent cabaret performances as well as an academic showcase of one-person shows. She served on the Student Leadership Team for the 2022 Gallatin Arts Festival.
