Cry No More (Song)

STATEMENT:

My song “Cry No More” is a healing soul’s reprieve. It is a chance to breathe, to feel, and to be human. I wrote this song for anyone and everyone to feel safe hugging themselves and caressing their emotions. It serves as a reminder that things will get better and you won’t always feel the way you do right now.

Meicha Hall

“My name is Meicha (pronounced ‘Mee-sha’, she/her), and I’m a 21-year-old writer, artist, and visionary. I’m from Queens, New York, and am Caribbean-American. I identify strongly with these roots. I write original songs and I feel blessed to have the ability to heal through music. I’m most excited this year about bringing my songs to life through film. On Dec 31, 2021, I released my first EP .meicha, a culmination of two years’ worth of growth, happiness, love, and healing.  In 2023, I will be graduating from Gallatin, where I am studying Imaginative Justice in the Arts, The Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology, and pursuing a minor in American Sign Language.
