Concert Music for Sextet Written Yesterday for Tomorrow
The Gallatin Galleries will host musical happenings in tandem with the 13TEENTH FL. Kwami Coleman, Gallatin faculty member, will perform new compositions accompanied by Myron Walden, Alicyn Yaffee, Vicente Archer, Shakoor Hakeem, and X. These musical performances present “Concert Music for Sextet Written Yesterday for Tomorrow.” We invite guests to explore sound, form, shape, and color with us as we create space for the ancestors, people of the present, and the sublime spirit of our collective and cooperative future.
