Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice

Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice was established in 2022 with a focus on post-conceptual and experimental art. Our mission is to represent extraordinary contemporary art created by underrepresented voices including women, LGBTQ+, and artists of color.

Based in New York City, the practice enjoys a global network of artists and curators. It aspires to become a space where alternative thought and new pluridisciplinary lines of thinking (Afrofuturism, Armeno Futurism, AI etc…) will have the luxury to grow and be challenged.

Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice believes in the power of art to transform society one individual at a time, and in its ability to help achieve social justice for all people.

In keeping with this vision, the practice collaborates with universities, museums and other institutions to curate a diverse array of inclusive art exhibitions, workshops, readings, film screenings, and podcasts.

Wooly Mammoth Theatre Company/Miranda Family Fellowships

MIRANDA FAMILY FELLOWSHIPS Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, a national leader in the creation of innovative theatre, is launching the third cohort of its transformative fellowship program in partnership and with a lead gift from the Miranda Family Fund, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s family philanthropic fund. This ambitious workforce development program is designed to provide talented candidates from historically excluded communities, especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, with the job experience, resources and training necessary to build their careers as arts administrators or theatre technicians. Each fellowship is structured as a paid year-long department-specific entry-level position with health insurance benefits. This position is full-time non exempt. The fellowships will take place over one year and begin in June 2023.

Creative Time

For nearly 50 years, Creative Time has commissioned and presented ambitious public art projects with thousands of artists throughout New York City, across the country, around the world—and even in outer space. Our work is guided by three core values: art matters, artists’ voices are important in shaping society, and public spaces are places for creative and free expression. We are acclaimed for the innovative and meaningful projects we have commissioned, from Tribute in Light, the twin beacons of light that illuminated lower Manhattan six months after 9/11, to bus ads promoting HIV awareness, to Paul Chan’s production of Waiting for Godot in New Orleans, and much more. In partnership with a variety of well-known cultural institutions and community groups, we have commissioned art in unique landmark sites from the Brooklyn Bridge Anchorage, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Governors Island, and the High Line, to neglected urban treasures like the Lower East Side’s historic Essex Street Market, Coney Island, and New Orleans’s Lower 9th Ward. We are committed to presenting important art for our times and engaging broad audiences that transcend geographic, racial, and socioeconomic barriers.

The NYU King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center (KJCC)

The King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center promotes research and teaching on Spain and the Spanish-speaking world at New York University, including free public programs for a general audience that highlight the history, politics and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Last year was our 25th anniversary and we launched several initiatives to put students at the center of our governance and programming, including the new “Fridays on the Patio” program which is led by our undergraduate intern. PROTOTYPE: Opera|Theatre|Now, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, is an annual festival of visionary opera-theatre and music-theatre works by pioneering contemporary artists from New York City and around the world. The festival is the only one of its kind in the United States – presenting fully produced premieres, national and international presentations, and showings of original genre-bending works by both emerging and career artists from the contemporary classical opera-theatre and music-theatre idiom. Win The Room, WTR, is a woman-owned global training and development company started in 2008. WTR expertise is in communication. The company has created powerful methods to transform leaders, teams, and sales professionals to inspire, resolve conflict, and negotiate.

WTR has spent many years researching human behavior and how communication affects individual needs, emotions, and organizational dynamics. The methods are strategic and creative and help people in all types of industries.

Kelly Hadous, CEO and founder, holds several degrees from New York University and Columbia University. Kelly started her career as an entrepreneur in residence (EIN), coaching startups at New York University’s three tech Incubators. There she taught hundreds of founders how to win the room and communicate effectively to pitch the value of their companies to investors. Kelly has also taught a capstone class at NYU on investment pitching.
