Description of Internship:

Run Artist Run is seeking a detail-oriented research intern with interest in the arts to participate in the development of an extensive opportunities database focused on programs for individual artists. The RAR intern will work one-on-one with our founder to (i) grow the database, (ii) optimize data inputs, and (iii) discover and promote opportunities for artists with a focus on non-extractive, beneficial programs. In return, the intern will gain capacity (a) managing and developing databases in Airtable, and (b) translating that data into communications and social media campaigns. Creative individuals and emerging artists who participate in this internship will benefit from increased awareness of the diverse funding and career programs available for working artists, while gaining direct insight into the proposal process, and all interns (regardless of field) will benefit from the ability to build and maintain an active database using Airtable. The internship is entirely remote, with the potential for optional in-person meetings in New York City and/or the Hudson Valley. Interns will be expected to sign a basic NDA and complete tasks punctually and completely to maintain the internship opportunity, which runs through the 2026 Spring Semester with potential to transition into a paid position in Summer 2026.

Desired Skills for Internship:
– Strong writing and communications skills.
– Punctuality and the desire to learn.
– Experience and/or interest in arts research.
– Basic knowledge of Airtable and/or database management.
– Graphic Design (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) a plus.
– Computer, email address, and consistent access to wifi.
