Description of Internship:
PR’s Marketing team is seeking a multidisciplinary intern with an interest in storytelling in all forms. Our Editorial Content Intern will walk away with hands-on writing and multimedia content creation experience — from brainstorming to interviewing to editing and writing both long-form + short-form content. Additionally, the intern will work under the mentorship of the Marketing Manager to ideate and create their own social media content series and walk away with polished portfolio pieces to take ownership of.

Key Responsibilities:
-Research, write, and publish 1-2 pieces of content/week for PR’s Instagram, working closely with designers utilizing content templates
-Work with Marketing Manager to create + edit original video content for TikTok
-Attend and document live shows, club nights, private events, and various activations, ensuring high-quality coverage that aligns with the brand’s visual and editorial style.
-Ideate and create an original video content series for PR’s social channels, in collaboration with Marketing creative team.
-Assist with planning and executing photo and video shoots, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality creative output.
-Support content organization and archiving, maintaining an easily accessible library of multimedia assets.
Desired Skills:
-Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in journalism, communications, marketing, media studies, or a related field.
-Strong writing and storytelling skills with an understanding of grammar, tone, and voice.
-Basic proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
-Ability to research, interview, and produce content that aligns with Public Records’ brand identity.
-A demonstrated interest in content creation, digital marketing, and/or social media storytelling.
Preferred:
-Previous experience in a content marketing, editorial, or communications role.
-Familiarity with video production, including editing for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
-Comfortability on camera or experience hosting content.
-An interest in music, hospitality, or cultural events.
