Description of Internship: We’re looking for a passionate and driven Partnerships paid Intern to support our new business efforts.
This is a high-impact role in which you’ll be part of the prospect facing team at Matter Unlimited as you help organize and develop our Partner experience. You believe in the power of teamwork and transparency to raise the possibility of the purpose economy through our new business growth period. This role is a high growth role with potential for full time as results are proven. Professional development and mentorship is prioritized.
This is a paid internship position and we are fully remote for the Winter/Spring of 2023 with potential to continue through Summer. Candidates are encouraged to apply across all time zones.
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for helping to organize and research a sales pipeline of the most impactful organizations, initiatives, and programs in the world. You will be a master at detail, organizing across our multistage prospecting process. At times this role may provide client facing experience on calls and emails, you will be responsible for professional, timely and consistent representation of the Matter Unlimited team.
New Business Development
– Support the entire partnerships team on development of outreach strategies and messaging to target specific impactful organizations (nonprofit, foundation, startup and corporate), with particular emphasis on detailed ESG research. Contact research is a very large and important part of this role.
– Help sharpen and provide feedback on how we convey Matter Unlimited’s unique value proposition to interested partners and clients
– Raise your hand with new ideas on organizations, programs, and initiatives to follow
– Support Matter Unlimited at large by identifying, tracking trends and sourcing new strategic experiential and thought leadership opportunities to strengthen client relationships and new business outreach
– Support CRM database management of current, past, and prospective partners and clients.
– Support the sourcing of opportunities to creatively and consistently improve our own marketing, public perception and positioning.
– Assist in the development, optimization and automation of the partner development success playbook for internal project management and processes strengthening.
– Research industry-related, client activations, company-specific news and maintain a steady stream of internal communications and up-to-date knowledge on developments in the ESG, social impact and digital purpose space
– Stay on top of market trends and how they might affect Business Development strategy
– Assist Partnerships Manager with tracking data and reporting for New Business efforts
– Administrative and operational projects as they arise
