Description of Internship: During the 10 week internship, interns will spend the first 8 weeks in one of three departments: Sales, Fashion Merchandising, or Fashion Media.
All interns will spend their final two weeks participating in a project centered on the innovations within tailored clothing and more specifically, Peerless Clothing’s direct influence on these innovations. Previous projects have led to the creation of meaningful new areas of business. At the end of the program, the intern class will present findings and proposal to senior management.
The internship will be held in Peerless Clothing’s New York offices at 641 Lexington Avenue, 12th Floor, New York NY 10022.
The 10 week program will run from June 5th to August 11th. Office hours are subject to COVID-19 restraints. With safety continuing to be a top priority, proof of vaccination is required for all employees, interns and guests.
Desired Skills:
- Applicants are ideally a rising senior or junior, with an interest in pursuing a full-time position in merchandising, sales or media.
- Applicants traditionally have an educational concentration in fashion merchandising, product development, fashion business, or fashion design; however, all ages and majors are welcome to apply.
- Applicants must be able to work from Peerless’ New York office for the entirety of the 10 week program.
- Interns will be paid an hourly wage in addition to transportation and meal perks.
- Students can be awarded credit in addition to compensation.
