Theaterlab is seeking a part-time Artistic and Administrative intern to join our small non-profit company. From marketing to administrative tasks, to interfacing with resident artists, to helping maintain our three performance spaces, you will get the opportunity to dive into the many facets of operating a small nonprofit theatre in New York City. In addition to a stimulating slate of diverse responsibilities, interns can also choose a particular area of interest in which they hope to gain real-world experience. Theaterlab is a bustling center of DIY performance and theatre making, perfect for eager, proactive, and flexible students aspiring towards careers in the world of theatre and interdisciplinary arts.
Ideal candidate:
- Passionate about small non-profit arts organizations
- Working knowledge of Mac Studios and projectors
- Detail oriented and solution focused
- A team player who works well in a highly collaborative environment
- Eager to learn and expand skill set
- Organized and responsive
Logistics:
- Average of 8 hours a week
- Schedule can be flexible
- Bi-weekly in-person staff meetings
