Description of Internship: maude is seeking an enthusiastic Wholesale Marketing and Sales intern for this summer! This individual will work closely with the Senior Manager in managing and driving sales + strategy across our portfolio of department store, hotel, and specialty retailer accounts. This is a great opportunity for a someone who wants to gain experience in a startup environment + get their foot in the door within the fast-growing sexual wellness/beauty industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in driving growth for business & manage relationships with retailer partners (i.e. Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdale’s, The Detox Market, etc.) + hospitality partners
Assist in tracking weekly/monthly shipping reports against budget + learn about forecasting
Learn to pull and analyze retailer sales reports and seek for growth opportunities
Audit retailers online and make sure all assets and product assortment are up to date and accurate
Manage the wholesale marketing calendar and work closely with Senior Manager and buyers on future marketing opportunities
Work cross-functionally: Communicate across operations, product, and marketing to ensure efficiency and quality of retail partner launches and ongoing account management
Desired Skills: An undergraduate junior or senior in business, marketing, and/or a related field
Available to work 2-3 days a week, partially in office
Has some experience in wholesale and marketing preferably in beauty or consumer goods
Open minded and comfortable working in the sexual wellness space
Strong verbal and written communication skills + strong willingness to learn
Creative problem solving and analytical skills; keen attention to detail and deadlines
Flexible and entrepreneurial attitude; able to work independently and within team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Suite
