Interests

I like to understand how novel traits evolve hence I study the development of interesting traits and do multiple species comparisons (evo-devo). I am currently working on the insulin signaling in the Indian Jumping Ants (Hsal) and trying to understand how Insulin controls aging and reproduction.

In my free time, I like to go hiking, birding, take long walks and go museum hopping.
