Interests

I am interested in describing the neuronal diversity of the optic lobe of the adult Drosophila melanogaster at the transcriptomic level. I will then use this information to identify specific markers of the different cell types of the optic lobe, to explore how gene expression is maintained in these adult neurons, and to correlate this gene expression to various neuronal features such as their developmental origin.
