CTS VI will take place in Opatija, in Western Croatia. Opatija is a vibrant town, located between the mountains and the sea,  with a stunning 12 km-long coastal promenade, beautiful public gardens and historic villas. It has a long tourism history: It became a fashionable resort for the Austrian imperial family and nobility in the 1880s, and much of the town’s architecture reflects this illustrious history. The closest airports to Opatija are Rijeka (45 minutes), Pula (1 hour), Trieste (Italy, 1.5 hours), Ljubljana (Slovenia, 1 hour 45 minutes) and Zagreb (2 hours).
