The CLACS Colloquium presents A Son de Qué centered on the Colombian Black Pacific. The event features a presentation by Michael Birenbaum Quintero (Boston University) and immersive performance by vocalist and percussionist Manuel Francisco Viveros (NYU Spanish & Portuguese), Mauricio Nieto Lugo on the marimba, and Andrés Sánchez.
