Volunteer Opportunity with Beyond Z!

Beyond Z is an early-stage, national organization on a mission to ensure that the next generation of leaders emerges from everywhere. We discover, develop, and connect diverse young talent to networks and opportunities they deserve. In the long term, we aspire to be the nation’s leading accelerator of diverse talent, creating a visible and diverse pipeline from school to profession.
We seek volunteers (called Leadership Coaches) interested in making a commitment to coach a cohort of 4-6 public school 7th graders in Brooklyn. We’ll support you with high quality resources and trainings, as well as a community of staff and volunteers, so you can focus on building a collaborative culture and their collective leadership. The commitment is from October 2014 through May 2015, and requires approximately 4-5 hours weekly (excluding travel time) and 4 weekends.
